Frequently Asked Questions
How do I order?
Our weekly menu drops every Sunday, and preorders stay open through Tuesday night. Choose your bakes for the week, place your order online, and select your pickup option at checkout. Everything is baked fresh in small batches for Friday pickup.
When can I pick up my order?
Friday is pickup day! Porch pickup is available at Naches Heights from 9 AM–7 PM. Your pickup details and address will be provided with your order confirmation.
Can I pick up my preorder at the farmers market?
Yes! During market season (May- October), you can choose to pick up your weekly preorder at the farmers market instead of our Naches porch pickup. We will be at either the Ellensburg or Selah farmers market that week, and the Sunday menu will let you know which market we’ll be attending. Market pickups are available during that market’s regular Saturday hours. If you don't preorder, you can always stop by and shop a rotating selection of sourdough breads, focaccia, seasonal flavors, and other small-batch bakes while supplies last.
Do I need to preorder?
Preorders are required for Saturday pickup in Naches—place your order between Sunday and Tuesday night. If you’re visiting that week’s farmers market, you’re welcome to shop without preordering while supplies last, or preorder to reserve your favorites!
What happens if I miss my pickup window?
Missed pickups aren’t eligible for a refund, but please reach out as soon as you can. We’ll do our best to arrange another pickup time, though we can’t guarantee availability beyond your scheduled window.
Is everything sourdough?
Our breads and focaccia are naturally leavened with sourdough starter and given plenty of time to ferment. From time to time, our menu may also include other scratch-made seasonal bakes that aren’t sourdough.
Do you use local ingredients?
Whenever possible! We prioritize quality ingredients from growers and producers here in Eastern Washington, especially seasonal produce at its best. Not every ingredient can be sourced locally, but whenever we use a local ingredient, we’ll always name its source in the product description.
What does “seasonal” mean at Daly House?
Our menu changes throughout the year to make the most of each season. Alongside our core breads and focaccia, you’ll find rotating flavors inspired by what’s growing locally, in Yakima Valley and Washington state—from berries and stone fruit in the warmer months to pears, apples, cranberries, and warm spices as the weather cools.
How should I store my bread or focaccia?
For the best texture, enjoy your bread or focaccia fresh. If you won’t finish it within a few days, we recommend freezing it rather than refrigerating it. Slice or portion it first, freeze it well wrapped, and warm it when you’re ready to enjoy it.
Do you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Our products are made in a home kitchen where common allergens are present. Ingredient and allergen information is provided for each bake so you can make the best choice for your household. Because we work in a home kitchen environment, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from cross-contact with allergens.
Can I place a custom or large order?
Depending on our baking schedule, we may be able to accommodate larger orders or special gatherings. Reach out with what you have in mind, the quantity you need, and your desired date, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Why does my loaf or focaccia look a little different from the last one?
That’s part of small-batch baking! Every loaf is shaped by hand, and sourdough is naturally responsive to things like temperature, fermentation, and seasonal ingredients. You may notice small differences from bake to bake, while the recipe and care behind it stay the same.
